Strike action for 16, 18, 30 March and 1 April – Check before you travel
As a result of strike action, by RMT union members, Northern advise customers to check before travelling on Thursday 16, Saturday 18, Thursday 30 March and Saturday 1 April. On these days:
- Very limited Northern services will be running.
- Some Northern stations will have no services.
- Check other operators for onward travel information.
- Trains will be busy and will finish earlier, plan ahead, make sure you check last trains of the day.
A handful of services will also be affected on days between industrial action, on 17, 19, 31 March and 2 April. We advise checking journey planners if you choose to travel these days, particularly in the morning.
